Damongo College of Agriculture and Allied Sciences
Educating and training people of diversity for sustainable global food security and economic prosperity since 1953.
Originally established as the Damongo Farm Institute in 1953, our institution has evolved through decades of dedicated service to Ghana's agricultural sector. We are managed by the government through the Ministry of Food and Agriculture under the Human Resource Development and Management Directorate.
Our Journey
Seven decades of agricultural education excellence
1953
Established as Damongo Farm Institute to train farmers in group farming techniques
1963
Joint project transformed institute into farmers training centre with Field Officer training
1995
Converted to Damongo Agricultural College replacing Nyankpala Agricultural College
2016
Programme duration revised from three years to two-year Certificate in General Agriculture
2024
Transitioned to TVeT system as Damongo College of Agriculture and Allied Sciences
